Our client, a top banking client in Canada is looking to hire a Training Consultant - Commercial Banking role for their team with a contract of 6 months which is renewable. This role 1-2 days a week in the office for their Toronto office.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop engaging training solutions using various methodologies to accommodate multiple learning styles.
  • Work with SMEs and the CEX team to assess training needs, identify gaps, and implement effective learning programs.
  • Refresh existing training materials and develop new content in alignment with Commercial Banking strategies.
  • Develop interactive and user-friendly content for e-learning, instructor-led, and self-guided training.
  • Ensure quality assurance, version control, and continuous improvement of training programs.
  • Manage training projects, track deliverables, and communicate updates with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on monitoring the effectiveness of training initiatives and implement improvements as needed.
  • Coordinate translation activities and liaise with vendors for course materials when required.
Must have skills:
  • Portfolio or sample of work done included.
  • 2+ years' Comprehensive experience with e-learning authoring tools and training simulation software
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office software products--especially Power Point
  • 2+ years' Experience developing successful e-learning, instructor-led and self-guided training materials
 
Nice to have:
  • Recent experience with a combination of adult learning instructional design and eLearning development an asset
  • Recent experience working with subject matter experts to convert existing curriculum content to an eLearning format an asset
  • Experience with Commercial Banking an asset
  • Bilingual is an asset
  • Learning facilitation experience is an asset
