Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an Intermediate Training and Engagement Consultant to join their team for 6 months of contract with possibility of extension. This role is to support launch of a new enterprise-wide platform for the entire bank this summer - Microsoft Viva Engage. The role is 2 days in office in Downtown, Toronto.

Job responsibilities:
Event Coordination & Engagement
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing training events, roadshows, and AMA sessions to promote Microsoft Viva Engage.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and tailor content accordingly.
  • Gather and analyze feedback to assess training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and report on the success of training sessions.
Training & Support
  • Develop training resources (guides, FAQs, presentations) to facilitate platform adoption.
  • Provide hands-on support during training sessions, helping employees understand and use the new platform effectively.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions to address specific employee needs.
Communication & Change Management
  • Assist in engaging early-access users during the pilot phase of Microsoft Viva Engage.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on the new platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and adoption strategies.

Must Have:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in training, event coordination, or change management, preferably within a corporate environment (cap is 7 years)
  • Strong understanding of principles and purpose of internal / employee communications, employee experience, or similar areas
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Viva Engage and familiar with enterprise social media networks and employee communication technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design

Nice to Have:
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a bonus.
