Our client, a large enterprise organization, is seeking a SharePoint Web Publisher for a 12-month contract opportunity, with potential for extension.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 1-3 days per week (typically Thursdays and every fourth Friday) at a downtown Toronto office. The role focuses on managing and publishing intranet content, improving user experience, and supporting enterprise-wide SharePoint initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
o Build, edit, and publish SharePoint pages, documents, and content
o Manage site structure, permissions, libraries, lists, and metadata
o Support content owners with publishing requests, updates, and troubleshooting
o Contribute to migration from SharePoint Classic to Modern environments
o Apply best practices in information architecture and user experience design
o Review and optimize content for clarity, consistency, and usability
o Ensure content meets accessibility standards (WCAG) prior to publishing
o Conduct quality assurance checks including formatting and functionality
o Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality intranet content
o Provide guidance on SharePoint best practices and governance standards

Must-Have Requirements
o 2-3 years of hands-on SharePoint experience in an enterprise environment
o Strong experience publishing and managing internal web/intranet content
o Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Experience working with both SharePoint Classic and Modern environments

Nice-to-Have
o Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Teams, Viva, Power Automate)
o Basic image editing skills (e.g., Photoshop or similar tools)
o Experience supporting corporate intranet or communications teams
o Experience within large enterprise environments
