Senior Product Manager – Open Banking

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to support an Open Banking initiative within Banking, focused on data flow and regulatory-driven transformation. This is a 6-month contract (with potential extension and possible conversion), starting ASAP. The role operates in a hybrid model with mandatory onsite presence on Tuesdays and one Friday per month at 81 Bay Street. The position involves leading product strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and execution of open banking capabilities aligned with regulatory and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities include the following; 

• Define and drive product strategy for Open Banking capabilities within Business Banking
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver regulatory and digital initiatives
• Lead end-to-end product planning, execution, and incremental delivery in an Agile environment
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear product roadmaps and outcomes
• Engage stakeholders across business, technology, and operations teams to ensure alignment
• Support digital transformation and ongoing business banking initiatives
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, growth, and innovation
• Ensure delivery of business outcomes through structured planning and execution

Must-Have Requirements include the following; 

• 5-7 years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, or Strategic Delivery
• Strong experience in Business Banking or financial services environment
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Proven ability in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership
• Strong understanding of business functions and digital implementation
• Experience in business planning, product strategy, and change management
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice-to-Have skills include the following; 

• Exposure to Open Banking initiatives
• Experience with Jira
• Small business banking experience
• Experience working in top-tier financial institutions
