Senior Manager, Payroll

Our client is a major industry consolidator and service provider and they are looking to add to their team, a Senior Manager, Payroll.  This is an in office 4 days per week role, supervising 4 staff centrally located right downtown Toronto.

As the Senior Manager, Payroll you are responsible for overseeing entity wide payroll.  Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Management of the team, including Workday Payroll
• Bi-weekly payroll preparation [including support] and disbursement of payroll [multi province]
• Work with other departments [HR, IT, Operations, etc.] on process improvements and various initiatives needing collaboration.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• Post secondary degree with payroll designation
• Proven experience managing a payroll team responsible for multi province payroll
• Workday Payroll hands on experience
