Our client, a large player in the Oil & Gas Industry, is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst for a 12-month contract. The role is currently hybrid model operating 4 days in onsite with the office located in Calgary Alberta.  This role also has a possibility to extend. 

You will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Update monthly PMR Actual/Forecast/Budget working file and PMR templates. Conduct reasonability analysis 
  • Organize with the team monthly capital variance commentary and reporting for the internal capital expenditure report
  • Update monthly capital spend report (WBS based) and reconcile to the A1A asset report; troubleshoot variances
  • Support the Spotfire accrual load and extract procedure for capital accruals on a monthly basis. Spotfire system administrators can troubleshoot as necessary

Qualifications:

Must Haves:
  • Must be CPA designated
  • Must have atleast 8-10 years of Full Cycle Accounting experience
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of IFRS and SOX controls
  • Excellent business writing and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate across
  • Strong excel skills including pivot tables, Vlookups, formulas, etc
  • Strong Communication & Leadership Skills
