Our client, a large enterprise organization, is seeking a Senior Consultant - Workday Solutions for a 6-month contract opportunity, with potential extension (3-6 months).

This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence on Mondays and every first Friday at the downtown Toronto office, with flexibility for remote work outside of those days. The role will support a confidential strategic initiative involving significant enhancements across multiple Workday modules as part of a global expansion effort.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a techno-functional Workday expert supporting system enhancements and optimization
  • Partner with HR, Technology, and vendor teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions
  • Configure Workday across key modules and support testing (regression, UAT, validation)
  • Support deployment, stabilization, and ongoing BAU enhancements
  • Provide advisory support on cross-domain impacts and best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize HR processes and system adoption
  • Contribute to milestone execution within a fast-paced project environment
Must-Have Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration and solutioning experience
  • Strong experience configuring at least 1-2 major Workday domain
  • Experience across domains such as:
    • Time Tracking & Absence
    • HCM
    • Core & Advanced Compensation
    • Recruiting
    • Security
    • Integrations (exposure required)
      o Ability to perform both technical configuration and functional analysis
      o Experience gathering requirements and supporting cross-domain initiatives
Nice-to-Have
o Workday Reporting experience
o Experience supporting large, multi-domain Workday expansion initiatives
