Overview
Our client, one of Canada's leading financial institutions, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 6-month contract supporting a procurement system enhancement initiative. This is a hybrid opportunity (2 days onsite per week) with potential for extension. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technology partners to gather requirements, drive solution design, and support project delivery within a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
o             Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
o             Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and working sessions.
o             Create and maintain business requirements, user stories, process flows, and project documentation.
o             Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
o             Support Agile ceremonies, QA testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
o             Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to drive project outcomes.
o             Assist with process improvement initiatives and procurement system enhancements.

Must-Have Requirements
o             5-7 years of Business Analysis experience.
o             Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
o             Experience leading stakeholder discussions and facilitating workshops.
o             Strong documentation and requirements gathering skills.
o             Experience with Jira and Confluence.
o             Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
o             Experience documenting user stories and participating in Agile ceremonies.
o             Experience supporting QA and UAT activities.
o             Banking or insurance industry experience.
o             Understanding of the IT project lifecycle.
o             Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage challenging stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have
o             Experience with procurement systems, processes, or workflows.
o             Previous experience within a large financial institution.
o             MBA or other advanced business-related degree.
