Senior Business Analyst - Fixed Income Trading Technology
Location: Fully Remote

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong Fixed Income and Capital Markets experience to support Front Office Fixed Income projects. This role will partner closely with traders, business stakeholders, Product Owners, Project Managers, Technology teams, and external vendors to deliver solutions that modernize and enhance Fixed Income trading capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis and delivery activities across Front Office Fixed Income projects.
  • Partner with traders and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clear business requirements.
  • Work with Agile development teams to define Epics, User Stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities.
  • Support QA, including test planning, execution, validation, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Technology teams, and vendors to drive successful delivery.
  • Track and communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve trading processes and platforms while ensuring clear business value.
  • Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders and operate independently across multiple workstreams.
  • Leverage AI and productivity tools to improve efficiency and accelerate delivery.
Qualifications & Experience;
  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst within Capital Markets
  • Strong understanding of broker/dealer Fixed Income trading, including pricing, risk, RFQ, positions, inventory, clearing, settlement, and regulatory processes.
  • Knowledge of electronic Fixed Income trading, trading venues, connectivity, and platform integration.
  • Broad understanding of Fixed Income products, including Government bonds, SSAs, Corporates, Provincials/Municipals, Investment Grade, and High Yield.
  • Proven experience working directly with Front Office stakeholders and traders.
  • Strong Agile, requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution design experience.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Fixed income trading platforms; Interest Rate Derivatives experience is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment.
