Our client, a leading organization, is seeking a Senior AV / Broadcast Operations Lead for a contract role.
This is an onsite role, requiring regular in-person presence to support studio, broadcast, and live production operations. The role is highly visible and executive-facing, working closely with production, AV, and broadcast leadership to deliver high-quality live and recorded content.

Responsibilities
o Lead studio AV operations for live broadcasts, podcasts, and video productions, including live switcher operation.
o Execute real-time video transitions, graphics, and cues during live productions.
o Provide technical guidance and support to AV technicians and production staff.
o Maintain broadcast-quality standards across all audio and video outputs.
o Troubleshoot AV systems, signal flow, and equipment issues in real time.
o Coordinate with building AV and facilities teams to resolve technical challenges.
o Support both live and recorded events, including virtual and hybrid productions.
o Lead broadcasts for key spokespeople across platforms such as BNN, MS Teams, and Zoom.
o Recommend and implement best practices for studio, broadcast, and AV production workflows.
o Collaborate closely with Production, AV, and Broadcast leadership to ensure seamless delivery.

Must-Have Requirements
o 8+ years of experience in studio AV, broadcast operations, or live production environments.
o Hands-on experience operating live video switchers, including real-time transitions, graphics, and cue execution.
o Strong proficiency with audio mixing boards, studio lighting, camera operation, and control room workflows.
o Experience supporting virtual and hybrid productions (Zoom, MS Teams) with live troubleshooting.
o Strong AV/IT knowledge with deep understanding of signal flow and broadcast systems.
o Proven ability to maintain broadcast-quality standards in high-pressure, live environments.
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including executive-facing support.

Nice-to-Have
o Experience with video editing and post-production tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro).
o Photography experience for events or social media content.
o Digital content creation and storytelling experience.
o Bilingual (English/French).
o Event coordination experience.
o Experience mentoring, training, or coaching junior staff.
