Our client, one of Canada's leading financial institutions, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 6-month contract supporting enterprise Finance systems initiatives. This role will focus on business analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, and testing activities for strategic SAP and PeopleSoft Finance projects. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technology teams to deliver finance transformation and system enhancement initiatives. This is a hybrid opportunity (onsite Wednesday, Thursday, and every 4th Friday) with potential for extension or long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
o             Gather, analyze, and document complex business and system requirements.
o             Facilitate discussions between business and technology teams to define and validate solutions.
o             Analyze business needs and recommend technology solutions based on impact and feasibility.
o             Create and maintain requirements documentation, process flows, meeting notes, and change requests.
o             Support project delivery activities and stakeholder coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
o             Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across business and technical teams.
o             Develop test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and support QA execution activities.
o             Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to successful project implementation.

Must-Have Requirements
o             8-10+ years of Business Analysis experience within technology delivery environments.
o             Proven experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting complex business requirements.
o             Experience working within Finance or Financial Systems environments.
o             Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
o             Experience facilitating discussions between business and technology teams.
o             Ability to analyze business problems and recommend effective solutions.
o             Hands-on QA testing experience, including test planning and execution.
o             Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies and SDLC.

Nice-to-Have
o             Experience with SAP S/4HANA (FICO, MDG, Group Reporting) and/or PeopleSoft Financials.
o             Knowledge of accounting and finance processes.
o             Banking or financial services industry experience.
o             Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs.
o             Previous experience as a QA Lead.
