Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is looking to hire a Project Manager for a 10-month contract (with potential extension or conversion to FTE). This is a hybrid position based in Toronto.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop, and maintain project plans for new building integration initiatives.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate potential issues.
  • Execute project plans balancing budget, time, and risk while ensuring milestones are achieved.
  • Collaborate with executives, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support decision-making.
  • Provide expert project management guidance, conduct status reviews, and prepare executive-level presentations.
  • Chair meetings, build consensus, and communicate project updates with clarity and impact.
  • Coach and mentor teams, develop resources plans, and continuously improve project delivery practices.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with organizational standards and procedures.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 7-10 years' experience as a Project Manager in cross-functional environments.
  • Experience in real estate or workplace transformation/relocation projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with executives and senior stakeholders across business units.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and PowerPoint.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing detailed project plans.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Previous experience in financial institutions.
  • PMP certification.
