In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives to enhance operational resilience, governance, and cybersecurity across the bank's global operations ensuring compliance with OSFI regulations, while also focusing on business continuity planning and stakeholder management.
- Project and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to develop integrated project plans and define deliverables. Manage multiple concurrent projects, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Communications Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, proactively resolving issues and risks. Create high-quality communications and presentations for diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
- Financial Management: Oversee project costs and budgets, monitor resource requirements, and manage forecasts and financial reporting. Ensure alignment with the project's financial risk appetite.
Must-Have Skills:
- 8 -10 years of experience as a Project Manager ** A Business PM who has worked on technical projects is a strong fit. (cap is 10 years)
- Strong experience with project financials // Experience having worked with project budget of 10 million+
- Experience with operation resilience program
- Experience executing complex project plans
- Microsoft Project/Excel
- Strong communication skills and active listening**
Nice to have:
- Previous financial institution experience (previous CIBC would be beneficial)
- Previous regulatory experience
- Experience using Planview
- PMP
- Technical background
- Business Analysis experience
