Project Manager

Our client, a Top 5 bank in Canada is looking to hire a Project Manager for an initial 9 Month contract with a high possibility of extension and conversion. This role is 2 days a week in the office in downtown Toronto.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support Finance Controllership, Accounting, and Treasury teams across the bank. This role will be instrumental in delivering complex finance projects for both APAC Line of Business (requiring flexibility with working hours) and a major Toronto-based initiative:
 

• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring goals, resources, and timelines are met.
• Provide expert guidance in project management practices, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee project financials, ensuring accurate reporting and efficient resource allocation.
• Foster collaboration among internal partners, guiding decision-making and aligning on goals.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to project timelines, ensuring successful delivery within budget.
• Mentor and coach project teams, fostering growth and development within the organization.

Must-Have Skills:

• 8+ years experience in Project management
• Degree/diploma in a related field of study
• Experience working with financial reporting systems
• Experience leading multi disciplinary teams

Nice to have:

• Relevant banking experience is preferred.
• PMP designation.
