Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Project Manager to their team for an initial 12 month contract which is renewable. This role is currently hybrid, 3 days a week in office in Toronto.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end client onboarding activities, ensuring accurate data collection, validation, storage, and maintenance throughout the client's lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute project plans for the regulatory remediation project, identifying tasks, assigning resources, and coordinating deliverables.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the project team, ensuring collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of project results, summarizing findings and providing regular status updates to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements by collecting necessary data and documentation from clients and maintaining this information in appropriate systems.
Requirements:
Must have:
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of Project Management experience.
  • Experience as a Project Manager in a Canadian Financial Institution within Capital Markets.
  • Proven ability to work with key stakeholders, managing relationships and expectations.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of regulatory regimes such as Dodd Frank (CFTC & SEC) and CSA.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
