Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Project Manager to their team for an initial 6 month contract. This role is currently hybrid in Toronto.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
  • Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
  • Direct, review and approve product designs and changes.
  • Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.
  • Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years experience in project management
  • Open banking (experience working on an open banking implementation highly valuable)
  • OpenAPI experience
  • Expert knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc
  • Reading architecture design documents
  • Records retention and archiving experience
  • Regulatory experience
  • Change management experience
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
