Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team for a 4-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is located in Toronto, and follows a hybrid work schedule of 2-3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assess current Finance processes for internal control weaknesses and process efficiency improvements.
- Present recommendations and solutions to management, including analysis of business processes and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead diagnostic, design, and implementation stages by working with cross-functional teams and supporting business groups.
- Participate in the design of 'To-Be' process flows and support the rollout.
- Support and oversee testing strategy and change management activities.
- Apply practical project management knowledge and experience working on projects following SDLC.
- Engage with Project Sponsors and Leads within Global Finance to understand objectives and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other assigned ad-hoc responsibilities.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Financial Services industry and process management.
- Demonstrated experience in creating process flows and process mapping.
- Strong proficiency with Excel (V-lookup, Pivot Tables).
- Strong proficiency with MS Suite (PPT, Word).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- A solid understanding of Global Finance's operations and processes.
- Change management experience is an asset.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
