Our client, a major financial institution in Canada is looking to hire a Project Manager for a 6 months contract. The role is currently operating on a hybrid basis with the office located in Toronto.  This role also has a possibility to extend or transition into a full-time role. 

You will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Leads assigned projects from project initiation to implementation to achieve desired business results
  • Provides strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor
  • Manages/validates financial forecasts and conducts ongoing reconciliation
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations
  • Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues
  • Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making
Qualifications:
  • Must have 3-5 years of Project Manager experience
  • Valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is an asset
  • Able to navigates challenging situations effectively
  • Able to apply project management methodologies or approaches
  • Nice to have Financial Institution experience
