Our client, a top 5 bank in Canada is looking to hire a Project Control Officer in their team for an initial 12-month contract. This role is once a week in office in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and timely minutes, ensuring clear documentation of action items.
  • Support Delivery Manager in maintaining project momentum amid conflicting priorities and multitask on multiple projects.
  • Document and cost project activities using Microsoft Project, communicating progress and escalating issues as needed.
  • Manage project files, including RAID logs, approvals, spreadsheets, and correspondence for effective documentation.
  • Maintain project budget integrity, audit deliverables, review time tracking reports, and ensure proper invoice approvals.
  • Perform financial activities, including forecasting, payment processing, and creating Project Change Requests (PCRs).
  • Update financial information for Executive Steering Committee documents and administer SharePoint for Collection Solutions.
  • Interact with countries/regions, building strong partnerships to support their financial management within approved budgets.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Financial Management Experience specifically budgeting experience
  • 3+ years of Relevant Experience in a Project Control position
  • Experience working with Project Manager or Delivery Manager
  • Strong familiarity with Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, formulas), PowerPoint, and MS Project required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • 2+ years of financial institution experience.
  • PMP designation is an asset.
