Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Product Manager (Credit Cards - Costco) for a 12-month contract (with high potential for extension). This is a hybrid position based in downtown Toronto with in-office work required on Wednesdays and the third Friday of each month.

Responsibilities
  • o Support and execute the development of Costco co-brand strategies to drive portfolio growth, client engagement, and profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market.
  • Manage and monitor key business metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and ensure the achievement of strategic goals.
  • Lead initiatives by establishing objectives, setting priorities, and driving execution across campaign management, frontline empowerment, and product process improvements.
  • Represent the Costco Product Team in supporting technology changes and Costco warehouse setups within bank systems, including updates to TSYS reward scripts and reporting logic.
  • Conduct rewards and spend analysis to identify opportunities to optimize customer spend mix.
  • Review manual rewards adjustments regularly to identify systemic issues, trends, and required corrective actions.
  • Analyze and document key operational and product processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhanced risk controls.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including Technology, Marketing, and other lines of business to support product initiatives.

Must-Have Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management and/or product development, preferably within financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations (5+ years).
  • Experience in process mapping and process development (2+ years).
  • In-depth knowledge of credit card products and the credit card industry (5+ years).
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Previous experience in controls, governance, or risk management.
  • Hands-on experience with TSYS or other credit card management systems.
  • Exposure to front-line user platforms such as Pega or PSP.
