IFG - Pittsburgh is actively recruiting a Payroll Analyst who configures and manages integrated payroll system to include time entry and tracking, payroll tax, garnishments, and benefits.  The primary responsibilities will be to ensure an accurate and timely payroll process. 
 
Responsibilities of the Payroll Analyst
  • Coordinates and processes payroll while adhering to the applicable local, state, and federal employment laws
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for payroll and on-boarding data, system and business process configuration, and internal reporting.
  • Updates information for salaried and hourly employees. 
  • Responsible for data analysis on compensation information. 
  • Processes status changes and updates in payroll system.
  • Maintains employee benefit files and other record keeping.
  • Processes open enrollment benefit plan management and cobra administration and maintenance
  • Tracks leave of absence approvals and rejections.

Requirements of the Payroll Analyst
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in positions related to payroll and benefit administration.
  • Experience utilizing payroll software required
  • Strong computer and database skills
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
