Manager, Regulatory Reporting

We've partnered with a Financial Institution located in the downtown core.  They are looking to hire a Manager, Regulatory Reporting.  This is a hands-on role preparing and reviewing regulatory submissions, performing data and variance analysis, and improving processes for balance sheet regulatory returns.

***This role is in office 4 days a week

The Key Responsibilities include the following; 

• Prepare and review balance-sheet regulatory reports and supporting schedules
• Perform detailed analytics, reconciliations, and variance investigations
• Execute control checks and data validation on securities, derivatives, and loans
• Document processes, procedures, and control evidence
• Support automation initiatives and workflow enhancements
• Coordinate responses to regulatory queries or audit requests

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• CPA or progress toward designation preferred
• 4-6+ years financial or regulatory reporting experience
• Strong understanding of banking and capital markets products
• Hands-on data analysis and Excel skills; experience with reporting systems an asset
