***This role is hybrid 2-3 days a week in office
The Main Responsibilities include the following;
- Provide leadership and oversight for a middle office team of 10+ professionals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while senior management is dedicated to project work
- Manage middle office functions, including collateral operations, daily processing, reconciliations, and control activities
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and reporting requirements
- Partner with senior stakeholders to resolve escalations and maintain operational stability
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching and guidance, and ensure adherence to deadlines
- Identify process improvements and support risk and control enhancements where needed
- Act as a bridge between the collateral management function and broader business units impacted by the remediation initiative
- 8+ years of progressive experience in collateral management, settlements, confirmations, trade support, or related financial services functions
- Strong people management experience, with proven ability to lead and motivate teams of 7+ in a fast-paced environment
- Deep knowledge of middle office operations, collateral processes, and regulatory expectations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and problem-solve at senior levels
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; advanced designation (CFA, CPA, FRM) is an asset
