Our client is a Canadian and International success story looking to hire a Manager, Financial System on a 6-month contract basis.  They are experiencing robust organic growth and need to hire this role to help them continue growing.  There is a very high chance this role either extends longer or converts to a full-time job.  This is an in-office role 4 days per week.

As the Manager, Finance Systems you are responsible for maintaining and improving system controls, ensure integrity of financial balances, financial systems, ensure reporting is in line with GAAP.  Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to Systems Enhancement, Upgrade & Compliance, System Documentation & Audits, Business Process Improvement, and other special projects.

Qualifications
  • CPA with 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience, this is an individual contributor role, although titled Manager;
  • Strong data and systems skills including Excel [Advanced/Macros], Power BI, SQL and knowledge/experience with data analysis
  • Strong communication skills [written and verbal]
