Salary Mid-Point: $110,000

Our client, a well-established and successful Public Accounting firm located in midtown Toronto, which provides a wide range of accounting services, is looking to add to their team!  Due to continuous steady growth and opportunity, they are looking for a full-time Manager Assurance.  The candidate must be able to interact with staff and clients in a positive and professional manner, must be well organized, efficient and have the ability to multitask.

***Our client is located in midtown Toronto and requires you to work 5 days a week in office

Responsibilities of the Manager Assurance include but not limited to the following; 
  • Review and oversee audit, review engagement and compilation files
  • Review personal and corporate tax returns - being able to indentify tax planning opportunities
  • Prepare Notice to Reader, Review and Audit Engagement files (ASPE)
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and senior staff
To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications; 
  • 7+ years of experience working within a Canadian CPA firm with your current working years as a current Manager or an experienced Senior Accountant ready for a Manager role
  • Knowledge of Caseware, Caseview, and Profile
  • CPA designation (PAL designation is an asset)
