Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is looking to hire a Learning & Development Consultant for a 6-month contract (with potential extension or conversion to FTE). This is a hybrid position based in Toronto.
Responsibilities:- Assist in managing Learning & Development (L&D) projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets while monitoring progress and addressing risks or issues proactively.
- Utilize SharePoint for project documentation, collaboration, and communication across teams.
- Maintain and optimize SharePoint sites to enhance user experience, structure, and accessibility.
- 2-3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with a proven ability to design and deliver impactful training programs.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with strong instructional design and visual storytelling skills.
- Experience developing and managing internal training sites using SharePoint, including site structure, content organization, and user interface design.
- Background in Risk and Audit, with familiarity in developing training aligned with internal controls, compliance standards, and audit readiness.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Education, or a related field.
- Project management experience in Learning & Development initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) for course creation.
- Proficiency in Camtasia to produce instructional videos and screen recordings.
