Junior Business Consultant

Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Junior Business Consultant to their team for an initial 8 month contract. This role will be supporting a data remediation project for the bank's data governance office, and is currently hybrid in Toronto.

Responsibilities Include:

• Analyze existing practices, positions, and data to understand the client, industry, and nature of business.
• Supporting various data analysis initiatives/objectives surrounding data dictionaries, data quality management, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Perform and organize ongoing support for customers such as report building, data quality, new integrations, etc.
• Works closely with the project management team to determine required resources and create data templates.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of related experience in data governance/data management
• Strong documentation skills: data dictionaries, data quality measures
• FI experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field
