Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire Business Analyst - Junior to their team for an initial 6-month contract with a possibility of extension/conversion. This role is currently hybrid, 2-3 days per week in office in Toronto.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Support Data Investigation Intake and Assessment
  • Gather, document and ensure business requirements are signed-off by key stakeholders
  • Analyze large, complex datasets (from multiple sources both structured and unstructured) to investigate issues, assess financial impact and make recommendations
  • Relationship Management
  • Risk Management and Control

Qualifications:
  • Must have 3+ years of Business Analyst experience with BS/BA in Commerce, Finance, Statistics, Quantitative methods, Math, Computer or similar
  • Strong foundation in data and analysis.
  • Previous experience in banking/Financial Industry a strong asset
  • Expert proficiency in SQL, Excel, PPT.
  • Proficiency in SAS EG coding (nice to have)
  • Experience in data visualization preferred, including visualization software such as Power BI, Microsoft Reporting Services, Spotfire or Tableau.
