Do you have a background working in Real Estate?  Do you have Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable using Yardi?  Are you looking to work for a company who truly values work life balance?  If you answered yes to all three questions, then I want to hear from you!!!

  • At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Have experience processing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable in high volume environments

met with to talk about a new perm role.  It's someone who will work exclusively in Yardi, both with a/p and a/r.

They have about 540 units between townhouses, apartments etc.

This was a role in Accounting about 10 years ago.  The Housing department took over this one.  And when Alex joined, he said he wanted to bring this back to Accounting.

He wants someone with yardi exp.
75K salary. He said he can pay more, up to 95K and would give a sfa title.  Other wise 75-80K for f/a title.

There are 3 functions to this role;
 1) land lord rent (a/p)
2) tenants rent (a/r)
3) renovation expenses for units (20K for all units)

Yardi - scattered units.

He has projects.  They take deposits (last months rent) from tenants.  Post Yardi at end of month to Netsuite.  He has found that there are very big discrepancies with numbers in Yardi vs Netsuite.  So someone will help Alex with this.
He has a very good support to help with this role.

There are 100 landlords.

I've told him Real Estate companies who use Yardi have separate a/p and a/r teams who would use Yardi, so it might be tough to find someone who has Yardi and has done both a/p and a/r.
It would be better for someone to have an a/r background vs A/p as it's more of a struggle with a/r.
He did say we might have some luck finding people who are currently working with smaller real estate companies where they've been exposed to both a/p and a/r.
