Our client, a leading Financial Institution, is seeking a Reporting Analyst, Financial Reporting - Performance Reporting & Support.
This role sits within the Finance department and supports performance, recognition, and partner referral reporting across multiple lines of business. The position offers strong exposure to financial reporting, reconciliation, analytics, and stakeholder support and is open to new graduates.

The Key Responsibilities include the following; 

  • Produce regular performance, recognition, and partner referral reports for various stakeholder groups
  • Prepare analytical commentary explaining month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter performance fluctuations
  • Complete period-end reconciliation processes, report verification, and required adjustment entries
  • Review and recommend approval of commission and Partner Referral adjustment submissions in accordance with regulatory guidelines and internal programs
  • Reconcile report results against multiple data sources to ensure accuracy, system integrity, and proper controls
  • Investigate reporting discrepancies and resolve data issues in collaboration with business partners
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reporting for senior management to support timely and informed decision-making
  • Utilize tools such as Essbase, Tableau, Oracle, Excel, and MS Access to produce reports and resolve business issues
  • Support development of new reports, business initiatives, control policies, and testing activities to ensure compliance and data accuracy
  • Assist in developing and implementing validation and attestation processes to ensure adequacy of source data and metrics
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of operational risk management and reporting outputs to identify potential weaknesses
The Must Have Skills include the following; 
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience working with MS Access
  • Knowledge of Essbase / SmartView
  • 1+ year of related business experience (finance, reporting, or data analysis preferred)
The Nice to Have Skills include the following; 
  • Hands-on SmartView experience
  • Tableau reporting experience
  • Exposure to SAS
  • Experience with Alteryx
  • Understanding of computer programming concepts, algorithms, and how systems/processes work
