Responsibilities include:
- Financial Modeling and Maintenance:
- Work closely with senior management to comprehend and execute updates effectively.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates on financial and data models.
- Carry out monthly roll-overs, ensuring precise data intake and alignment with business needs.
- Reporting and Presentation:
- Analyze financial data meticulously to verify accuracy and detect trends and discrepancies.
- Craft or update financial presentations for business reviews, utilizing tools such as PowerPoint.
- Active Requests and Support:
- Gather and process data to aid inquiries from diverse business groups.
- Conduct daily investigations and offer prompt support as needed.
- Create reports for dissemination to different business units.
- Retrieve information from existing models and databases to fulfill requests efficiently.
- Ad Hoc Projects:
- Exhibit flexibility and adaptability by embracing new challenges.
- Assist in day-to-day investigations, crafting models or reports upon request, and contributing to team goals.
To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related finance field
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling & Data Analysis
- Advanced skills in MS Office Apps, especially PowerPoint and Excel (including Pivot tables, VLookups, and various functions)
- Strong investigative and problem-solving abilities, actively contributes innovative ideas
- Versatile and adaptable, willing to contribute to tasks beyond primary responsibilities
- Experience with PowerBI or SQL considered an asset
