Our client located in the heart of Mississauga is looking to hire a contract Financial Analyst for 6 months (chance of extension or even converting to full time).  Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the successful candidate will support the month end, quarter end and year end accounting duties which include journal entries, reconciliations and accruals.  .  

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or relevant field
  • Similar experience working for a mid to large size company that has lots of monthly transactions
  • Experience doing reconciliations, journal entries and accruals 
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and a go getter
  • Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, macros are nice to have
*This role requires 3 days in office
