IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting a Finance Manager responsible for the overall financial accounting, reporting, compliance, and finance operations.  The Finance Manager ensures accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and timely internal and external reporting.   Additionally, the Finance Manager leads and develops the finance team, including direct supervision of finance personnel, while partnering with operational and business leaders to support sound financial decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager   
  • Direct financial operations, reporting activities, and accounting functions across multiple business units and geographic regions.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to reporting deadlines.
  • Review financial statements, account reconciliations, and journal entries to support reliable financial reporting.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models to assist leadership with planning and decision-making.
  • Establish and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and corporate governance practices.
  • Coordinate external audit engagements and support compliance-related reviews and reporting requirements.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management for accounting and finance professionals within a collaborative team environment.
  • Partner with operational and executive stakeholders to deliver financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive process optimization, systems enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, scalability, and reporting accuracy.

Requirements of the Finance Manager   
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA and/or MBA highly desirable
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
  • Experience supporting multiple legal entities required
  • Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management
