Deal Review Specialist

Our client, a big 5 bank, is looking for a Deal Review Specialist for an initial 12-month contact with a possibility of extension. The role is hybrid in office 1-2 days a week in Toronto.
Responsibilities 

• Execute loan documents and conduct audits to ensure accuracy.
• Validate pricing, payments, and corporate profiles.
• Process registration liens and validate invoices.
• Confirm repayment structures for customers.
• Act as a subject matter expert and handle escalations.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Complete administrative tasks, including document scanning and filing.

Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills:

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Background in Everyday Banking, lending, or underwriting.
• Knowledge of business unit's products, processes, and controls.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Specialized knowledge from education or business experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Previous banking or financial institution experience (preferred).
• Understanding of the transportation or finance industry, particularly vendor equipment or transportation.
• Experience in roles requiring attention to detail, reporting, and documentation.
• Knowledge of PPSA registration and lien registration (from the automotive industry).
