IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting a Corporate Development Manager that will serve as a catalyst for organizational growth and transformation, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and business improvement projects. This role requires developing a comprehensive understanding of organizational challenges and objectives, engaging key stakeholders, and gathering critical information to evaluate opportunities and risks. The Corporate Development Manager formulates practical, value-driven solutions and presents recommendations to executive leadership for approval. Once initiatives are approved, the role leads the development and execution of implementation plans, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, aligned with strategic goals, and deliver measurable business results.

Responsibilities of the Corporate Development Manager
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with executives and business leaders to support enterprise initiatives focused on growth, innovation, and organizational performance.
  • Lead cross-functional projects by defining objectives, establishing timelines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress to ensure successful execution.
  • Prepare and present executive-level updates, dashboards, and reports that communicate project status, key milestones, and strategic outcomes.
  • Research and analyze market trends, financial data, competitive intelligence, and industry developments to support corporate growth initiatives and business planning.
  • Evaluate acquisition, partnership, and investment opportunities using internal resources and external data sources.
  • Analyze operational and financial information to identify trends, assess risks, and develop solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations enabling leadership to make informed strategic and operational decisions.
  • Develop presentations, briefing materials, and communications for executives, board members, and key stakeholders.
 
Qualifications of the Corporate Development Manager
  • Possess a degree in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Finance, Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
  • Advanced graduate-level business education is viewed favorably.
  • Knowledge of technical, manufacturing, industrial, or engineering-driven environments is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrate experience supporting strategic initiatives, business transformation efforts, operational improvement programs, or enterprise-level project management functions.
  • Exposure to corporate development activities, including business integrations, acquisitions, due diligence, or growth-focused initiatives, is beneficial.
