Controller

Our client located in Toronto, very close to a major Subway stop is looking to hire a Controller for an initial period of 3 months with a chance of extension, and even moving to a perm role. 
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for managing, guiding and leading a small team responsible for the day to day accounting function.  As this company is growing, there is an immediate need for someone who can help access current processes and figure out ways of making things better.  

***This role is hybrid requiring you to work 2 days a week in office

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• CPA with a blend of both industry and public accounting experience
• Have held a hands on role as a smaller company controller
• Proven experience with implementing new processes
