IFG is actively recruiting a Controller responsible for the full cycle of accounting operations across all entities ensuring accuracy, compliance and timeliness in financial reporting across a multi entity operation.  The controller ensures accurate financial reporting, fully and accurately closing books, creating and implementing processes and procedures, complying with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.


Responsibilities of the Controller
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for a growing multi?entity organization.
  • Oversee all accounting operations across all corporate entities, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Build structure and operational discipline across the accounting function, including policies, procedures, and internal controls in compliance with GAAP
  • Supervise, develop, and hold accountable internal accounting staff and third?party vendors.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, audits, and tax filings.
  • Partner with operations leadership to analyze performance, improve financial operations, and drive process improvements

Requirements of the Controller
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of leadership experience required
  • Expert in accounting policies and procedures for a growing business.
  • Experience in designing policies and successfully implementing them with an accounting team
  • Experience with multi-entity financial reporting and consolidation
  • Experience in reshaping a department/function
