Controller

Salary: $130K - $140K + 10% Bonus

We have recently partnered with an Oakville based Manufacturing company with a Global Presence as they look to add Controller to the team.  This is a new role for the organization.  In this role, the successful candidate will report the CFO and play an instrumental part in the support and strategic advice to a couple of global entities.
 ***This company requires someone to work 5 days a week in office  

Responsibilities of the Controller include but are not limited to the following;
 

• Full cycle month end and year end close process including preparing journal entries, accruals and reconciliations across the multiple global entities
• General Ledger mapping
• Financial Reporting
• Help with annual audits and compliance activities
• Leading a small team of 5+ direct reports

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• Must have a CPA with at least 10 years' experience in manufacturing
• Experience with IFRS and US GAAP  
• Must come with a can do attitude
• Be able to work 5 days a week in office
