Our client, a leading global organization in the energy sector, is looking to hire a Contract Global Mobility Compensation Analyst for a 12-month contract (with potential for extension or conversion to full-time). This is a hybrid position based in Calgary.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Compensation and Global Mobility team in the implementation and administration of compensation and mobility programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and global regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in domestic and international market surveys, perform data analysis and reporting, and contribute to program recommendations.
  • Support immigration assessments, documentation, and compliance for international and cross-border business travellers, contractors, and expatriates, including managing eTAs, travel letters, and visas.
  • Monitor immigration reports for expiry dates, initiate extension processes, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, including immigration providers, relocation management companies, and tax advisors.
  • Validate work permits for co-op students, summer students, and temporary foreign workers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Manage vendor invoicing and coding for Global Mobility contracts using Open Invoice and Winshuttle.
  • Perform monthly off-cycle salary budget tracking, assist with compensation transaction reviews, processing, and HR system data audits.
  • Contribute to compensation and mobility projects and initiatives of varying scope and duration, both individually and in collaboration with team members

Must-Have Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in compensation, mobility, HR, or a related analytical function within a corporate environment.
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, or Finance.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and sensitive employee information.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience working with international mobility programs or compensation administration.
  • Familiarity with immigration processes, global payroll, or expatriate tax coordination.
  • Prior experience working with vendor management systems such as Open Invoice or Winshuttle.
  • Exposure to SAP or other HR information systems.
