Our client, a large enterprise organization, is seeking a Content Editor / SharePoint Web Publisher.

This role sits within the Corporate Communications / Digital Workplace function and plays a key role in supporting and enhancing the organization's corporate intranet. The position focuses on SharePoint Online publishing, content quality, accessibility, and user experience, while partnering closely with content owners and business stakeholders across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
  • Build, edit, and publish pages, documents, and graphics using SharePoint Online.
  • Manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, permissions, metadata, and overall site structure.
  • Support content owners with publishing requests, content updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Work across both SharePoint Classic and Modern environments, including supporting Classic-to-Modern migrations.
  • Apply information architecture and UX best practices to improve content findability and usability.
  • Review content for clarity, consistency, structure, and alignment with intranet standards.
  • Ensure all published content meets WCAG 2.1+ accessibility requirements.
  • Maintain governance standards for templates, navigation, page layouts, and content quality.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to content owners on SharePoint best practices and publishing workflows.
  • Recommend improvements to tools, templates, navigation, and publishing processes.
Must-Have Skills
  • Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience publishing internal content using SharePoint in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong experience working with both SharePoint Classic and SharePoint Modern.
  • Solid understanding of SharePoint site management, metadata, permissions, lists, and libraries.
  • Strong understanding of WCAG guidelines and accessible content design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, Viva, or Power Automate.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and UX principles.
  • Basic image editing experience (Photoshop or similar tools).
  • Experience supporting a corporate intranet or working within a Communications team.
  • Experience working within a financial institution or large enterprise environment.
