Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Content Editor - Expert for a 6-month contract (with strong potential for extension). This hybrid role is based at 81 Bay Street (16th Floor), with 3 in-office days per week (flexible days).

Responsibilities
o             Create engaging digital marketing content across web pages, online ads, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
o             Ensure all content aligns with accessibility (WCAG), SEO best practices, and the bank's editorial voice, tone, and brand standards.
o             Collaborate daily within an Agile Marketing pod, working closely with designers, translators, developers, marketing stakeholders, and business partners.
o             Present content and design recommendations to stakeholders and clearly articulate digital content design principles.
o             Manage multiple concurrent content initiatives using strong organizational and time-management skills.
o             Support a new marketing pod by contributing to a data-driven, personalized marketing initiative.
o             Review briefing documents, contribute to content strategy discussions, and incorporate feedback into deliverables.
o             Participate in Agile ceremonies and help drive collaboration across diverse teams.

Must-Have Skills
o             5-10 years of experience in digital content writing and editing.
o             Strong knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive digital design.
o             Experience creating short-form content for websites, emails, and digital marketing.
o             Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams (designers, marketers, translators, developers).
o             Strong communication skills and confidence presenting work to stakeholders.
o             Ability to manage multiple projects and take full ownership of content tasks.

Nice-to-Have Skills
o             Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field.
o             Experience creating personalized content (email, SMS, push notifications, app messaging).
o             Familiarity with Agile workflows and tools such as Jira or Workfront.
o             Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
o             Background in UX writing or marketing writing.
o             Previous experience working in financial institutions or large enterprise environments.
