Our client, a top banking client in Canada is looking to hire Consultant - Technology & Cyber Security Audit for their team with a contract for 6 Months with potential extension or conversion to Permanent based on performance. Hybrid - Wednesday & Friday in Toronto Office.

Job Description:
You will lead the assessment, testing and validation of controls and will be required to document your effective challenge and overall opinion. You will be responsible for managing completeness of scope, execution timelines and testing quality during audit engagements and will perform and document your work in accordance with Internal Audit methodology.

Who you are
o       You can demonstrate experience in having a broad and deep knowledge and understanding of risks associated with technology infrastructure, cyber security, operational resilience, regulatory requirements, and best practices in technology & cyber security controls.? You will also have knowledge of Canadian regulatory requirements for Financial Institutions for technology & cyber security, auditing practices, procedures and principles that enable you to analyze client operations, assess risks, and select the most suitable audit approach. You must have proven ability to write comprehensive and concise reports used by senior leadership.
o       You're a certified professional. You have a current accreditation in any of the following: CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor; CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional; In-depth knowledge of COBIT. It is preferred that you have a bachelor's or equivalent degree in Business, Accounting, or financial designation or related field.

Must Have Requirement:
        - 3-6 years' experience with deficiency validation.
        - Knowledge of Canadian regulatory requirements for technology & cyber security
        - Understanding of Change Management, Operational Resilience & Technology Systems Development Lifecycle reviews
        - Technology Audit experience
 
Nice to Have:
        - Regulatory experience would be great
        - Bachelor in Business, Accounting, Finance or related
        - CISSP or CISA
        - Related Finance Industry experience
 
Soft Skills:
        - Attention to detail
        - Strong written skills
        - Documentation skills
