This is an exciting opportunity to join a recognizable Canadian Financial Services organization and play a key role within the Corporate FP&A team. The Finance Business Partnering Consultant will support strategic decision-making and performance management by providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to business leaders. This role partners directly with senior leadership, driving value through strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and stakeholder engagement skills.

You will support enterprise-wide transformation and project initiatives, helping ensure that financial rigor, forecasting discipline, and data-driven insights guide business outcomes.

***This role requires you to work 2-3 days in office every week The Key Responsibilities include the following; 
  • Partner with business leaders to provide high-quality financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decisions
  • Prepare and develop reporting packages for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, including senior executives
  • Proactively gather and analyze information from across the business to identify risks, opportunities, and performance drivers
  • Perform financial modeling and build financial frameworks that support business cases and strategic initiatives
  • Support financial analysis, forecasting and reporting for enterprise-wide transformation and project portfolios (e.g., ETO/EPMO)
  • Review project business cases and provide financial oversight, challenge, and recommendations
  • Present financial findings, variance analysis, and business insights clearly and confidently to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with finance and business partners to ensure alignment on key assumptions and recommendations
  • Foster strong relationships with internal partners and contribute to a culture focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency
To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications; 
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
  • Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Professional designation required: CPA (or equivalent foreign designation) CFA, or CBV
  • Advanced analytical skills and expert knowledge of strategic financial analysis and financial modeling
  • Hands-on experience partnering with business stakeholders at all levels; proven ability to influence decision-making
  • Power BI expertise and strong data visualization/reporting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and present clearly
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive continuous improvement
  • Experience working in a large, complex organization, ideally within financial services or a related industry
