Communications Specialist

Our client, a top 5 bank in Canada is looking to hire a Communications Specialist in their team for an initial 12-month contract. This role is twice a week in office in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities Include:

• Champion a customer-centric culture to deepen client relationships and utilize bank resources effectively.
• Create captivating PowerPoint presentations, incorporating storytelling techniques for internal and external audiences.
• Synthesize complex data into easily digestible presentations, charts, and infographics.
• Evaluate and improve existing presentations for maximum impact.
• Quickly gather and communicate information, track action items, and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Assist with assigned cybersecurity and IT tasks, including risk management and compliance activities.
• Efficiently handle multiple projects, problem-solving independently while fostering teamwork.

Qualifications:

• 5 4+ years experience with Data Analytics
• 10+ years of experience implementing graphics and multimedia within PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Demonstrated creativity and storytelling prowess, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.
• Experience presenting to leadership and executives.
• FI experience
• BA Experience
• Marketing/Communication experience
• Cybersecurity IT risk experience
