You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Advises DnA senior leaders and teams on strategic communications and change management initiatives, aligning counsel with stakeholder needs and overarching communication strategy.
- Analyzes complex strategic problems, synthesizes data and information, and provides actionable insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, effectively communicating with internal partners at all levels, providing confident counsel, and offering strategic recommendations.
- Leads the development of communication plans tailored to influence or change behavior, crafting messaging and selecting appropriate distribution channels.
- Creates, edits, coordinates, and publishes communication materials and messaging solutions, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to enhance communication content, platforms, and technology, staying abreast of industry trends and making recommendations for improvement.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of communication solutions, gathering feedback, measuring impact on target audiences, and continuously refining strategies to drive engagement and alignment.
Must have skills:
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Writing & editing skills - In-depth.
- Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
- Creating presentation decks/PowerPoint slides - In-depth
- Previous banking/insurance experience preferred
- Video editing skills are a nice to have
- Experience with project level communication (users) an asset
- Event management experience a nice to have.
