Our client is looking for a Business System Analyst to join a major system migration initiative, transitioning a Fixed Income trading platform from a legacy platform to a new trading platform. The contract is 6 months to start but the project spans multiple years.  We are seeking an experienced Fixed Income Business Systems Analyst to support system the migration, data flows, testing, and implementation while working directly with traders and technology teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst with deep Fixed Income knowledge, strong systems expertise, and the ability to engage with front office stakeholders.

This role is hybrid in office 2-3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the migration including data migration, testing, and implementation.
  • Partner with traders, business stakeholders, and technology teams to ensure system solutions align with trading workflows and business needs.
  • Provide day-to-day support of Fixed Income IT trading systems, ensuring stability and effectiveness.
  • Translate business requirements into system specifications and support end-to-end delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and data flow issues across platforms.
  • Contribute to process improvement and system enhancements with a focus on trader usability and business value.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience building and supporting Fixed Income IT trading solutions in large-scale financial institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of broker/dealer Fixed Income trading: pricing/risk, RFQ/position/inventory management, clearing/settlement, and regulatory processes.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of electronic bond trading and In-depth knowledge of bonds
  • Familiarity with at least one of: Broadway, Broadridge ICI Impact, FIS BondOne (DSTS), BondFire, FinPro/SFCM, Calypso.
  • Technical skills:
  • SQL (required).
  • Java, Python, Linux scripting (strong assets).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of building strong relationships with front-office stakeholders.
