***This role is hybrid 2-3 days a week in office
The key responsibilities include the following;
- Data Migration & Transformation: Partner with business and technology teams to map and transition existing data from current data lake to new, ensuring data quality and continuity
- Business Intelligence Reporting: Develop and enhance BI reports for middle and front office functions to support self-service reporting capabilities for investment strategies
- Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather specifications, identify potential data improvements, and define detailed technical and business requirements
- Analytics Development: Design and implement performance analytics solutions, ensuring accurate and efficient data flows for reporting purposes
- Business & Technology Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring smooth integration of BI solutions that align with organizational goals
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience:
- 3+ years experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role within financial services, insurance, or investment sectors
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing and SQL
- Proven ability to build BI reports and performance analytics tools that meet business needs
- Strong knowledge with investment products and derivatives
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, with an ability to straddle both business and technical discussions
