Job Description:
- Lead and execute end-to-end sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to optimize cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and mitigating risks.
- Manage contract amendments, renewals, and performance monitoring to maintain optimal supplier relationships.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Build strong relationships with SMEs and management teams to facilitate seamless procurement processes.
- Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization within assigned categories.
- Stay informed on market trends to recommend innovative procurement solutions.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to organizational policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and governance programs.
Must Have Requirements: - Legal background
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables
- Proven negotiation skills
- Technical writing
- Risk management experience
- Minimum 5 years, preference 7+ Years of related experience.
- Business analyst experience
- Former CIBC Experience
