Our client, a financial institution, is looking to hire a Business Consultant on a 6 months of  contract with possibility for extension. This position is hybrid with the office located in Downtown Toronto.

Job responsibilities
  • Participate in projects as a Subject Matter Expert, providing input into the development and implementation of programs designed to improve end-to-end processes or technology.
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts to incorporate business process improvement and change management best practices into daily activities.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with Front-line, Risk, Product, and other business partners.
  • Research opportunities to deliver an improved sales customer experience and actively participate in channel strategy and roadmap development and execution.
  • Monitor the performance of processes/services to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and profitability.

Must have Qualifications.
  • Degree/diploma in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Accounting with minimum 3 years of experience with Process Improvement Methodologies.
  • Experience in technology and business process troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation strategies and their implications for customer and employee experience and profitability.
  • Familiarity with approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice to have Qualifications
  • Banking experience, particularly within Retail Banking, is a strong nice-to-have.
  • Consulting background is a strong nice-to-have.
  • Experience in Change Management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Six-Sigma experience.
  • Sound knowledge of retail and business banking.
  • Experience with Visio process mapping.
