Our client, one of Canada's leading financial institutions, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise automation and invoice processing initiatives, with a strong focus on the Coupa platform and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. This is a 12-month contract opportunity operating in a hybrid model, requiring onsite presence on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and every fourth Friday of the month.
The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, drive project execution, improve operational processes, and support procurement and invoicing initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can balance business analysis, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement activities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
o Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
o Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and solution discussions across business and technology teams.
o Support project planning, execution, tracking, and delivery of project milestones.
o Create and maintain project documentation, status reports, meeting minutes, and change requests.
o Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and recommend process enhancements.
o Support automation initiatives and invoice processing workflows.
o Analyze project risks, issues, and dependencies while recommending mitigation strategies.
o Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business users, technology teams, vendors, and third-party partners.
o Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and project updates.
o Support procurement, invoicing, and Procure-to-Pay process improvements.
Must-Have Requirements
o 5+ years of Business Analysis and Project Management experience.
o 5+ years of stakeholder management experience.
o Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
o Proven ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions and obtain business signoffs.
o Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
o Experience influencing stakeholders and driving deliverables without direct authority.
o Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
o Experience with Microsoft Project, Teams, and SharePoint.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
o Coupa implementation or support experience.
o Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process experience.
o Invoice processing and procurement experience.
o Banking or financial services industry experience.
o Jira and Confluence experience.
o Previous experience supporting enterprise automation initiatives.
